Point Zero Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 September 2026
This policy explains how Spacetouch ("we", "our", "us") handles information in the Point Zero app and its account, scanning and connected-device services. Contact support@spacetouch.com with privacy questions.
Information we collect
- Account and profile: your name, email, user ID, sign-in information and optional details you provide, such as age, phone number and address.
- Face scans: photos you choose to take or upload, generated images, cosmetic observations, estimated skin type and age, scores, face-area coordinates and your scan-consent record.
- Devices and routines: registered device identifiers, treatment heads, treatment plans and session history.
- Orders and support: products ordered, order status, contact and delivery details, and information you send when requesting help.
- Technical and usage information: IP address, browser or operating-system information, request logs and session identifiers. App usage analytics can include pages visited, session activity and duration, linked to your account when signed in.
Face photos, AI processing and consent
Before each new scan, the app asks for your explicit consent. You can decline. If you continue, your photo is uploaded to third-party cloud service providers and shared with AI analysis and image-processing providers to generate cosmetic observations and an image with the background removed. This processing requires an internet connection.
The original photo, generated image, scan results and approximate face-area coordinates are saved with your Point Zero account so you can revisit scans and track changes. On-device face landmarks and saved region outlines describe facial geometry for positioning visual overlays. Point Zero does not use them for facial recognition, identity verification or surveillance, and does not access Face ID authentication data.
AI observations and scores are estimates and may be inaccurate. They are not a medical diagnosis or a substitute for professional advice. Face photos are not used by Point Zero for advertising profiles.
How we use information
We use information to provide your account, requested scans, saved results, compatible-device connections, guided routines, orders and support. Technical and usage information helps us operate, secure and troubleshoot the service and understand how it is used.
Who processes information
We use service providers for cloud hosting, authentication, data and file storage, app usage analytics, AI analysis and image processing. They receive information relevant to the service they perform; face photos and photo-derived images are transmitted to the cloud and AI providers used for scans.
If you choose Google sign-in, Google handles that sign-in and provides the account information needed to authenticate you. Checkout and payment providers process information needed to complete purchases. Authorized Spacetouch staff may access account information to provide support and fulfill deletion requests.
Providers may process information in countries other than yours. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to respond to fraud, abuse or legal claims. Contact us for information about the providers that handle your data.
Permissions and device storage
Camera access lets you take a scan photo or read a device QR code. The photo picker lets you choose an image. Bluetooth access connects to compatible Point Zero devices. On older Android versions, Bluetooth discovery also requires location permission; Point Zero does not use this permission to track your physical location.
You can manage permissions in your device settings. The app and website use device or browser storage for sign-in and session identifiers, including analytics sessions. Removing permission can disable the feature that needs it.
Retention and deletion
Your account information, photos, generated images, scan results and routine history are retained while your account is active unless you request deletion. Uninstalling the app does not delete data already stored in the service.
You can request deletion of your entire Point Zero account and associated personal data, or only your scans and scan results, from Profile or the public deletion page. Support processes verified requests within 30 days. Requests cover the selected records and their stored original and generated images, including applicable copies held by our service providers.
Submitting a request does not erase data immediately. We verify the request, carry out the deletion and send a completion confirmation. If specific information must be retained for a legal obligation, we will explain the categories and applicable retention period when responding.
Request account or scan-data deletionSecurity and your choices
The app uses HTTPS to transmit information to its cloud services and account authentication for signed-in features. No internet service can guarantee complete security. Keep your account credentials private.
You can decline future scans, edit your profile, change device permissions, or contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your information. Withdrawing consent stops future optional scans; use the deletion process to remove data already saved. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Children and policy updates
Point Zero is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us. We update the date on this page when the policy changes and provide further notice when required.
